At Q.E.D. studio, the collective UWAGA2002 has handed out personal invitations, each with a dedication, to interested guests who would like to spend an evening at BAR UWAGA at the end of November. BAR UWAGA is a performative event in which guests, unaware of what awaits them, take their seats in a cozy bar with a stage program and only realize over the course of the evening that this is no ordinary night.

UWAGA2002 has mixed a number of performers in among the guests, who act out various scenes on command. The mood in the room is secretly steered until it takes on a life of its own. It is never clear what has been staged, what is coincidental and what has emerged spontaneously. Alongside the invitations, UWAGA2002 presents a series of new paintings that are formally based on playing cards and take up some of the characters from BAR UWAGA.

UWAGA2002 is a collective made up of Ella Kur, Nika Genetika and Alfons Nagel, all three of whom study at HfBK Hamburg. The collective works with absurdity and observation in both visual art and performance.
