How do algorithmic systems determine what we see and what remains hidden? Katja Pilipenko's solo exhibition SLIT takes as its starting point a one-hour video recording of Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo from April 2020, from which a video installation and five photographic objects were developed. Camera, algorithm, and interface form a chain of mediating agents between the recorded event and its perception.
