Timo Roter & Maria Jeona Zoleta, Carnival Corpse
03.09.2026 – 30.09.2026 | Q.E.D. gallery
Maria Jeona Zoleta (Philippines) is one of Manila’s emerging talents, known for provocative paintings and installations exploring spectacular new millennium information overload and post feminist takes on sexuality.
Timo Roter (Germany) lives and works between Hamburg and Manila, shaping the city’s art scene as a multidisciplinary artist and co-founder of 8. Salon Hamburg. For this show, he presents over 30 painted Mortadella-Porträts, locating the whole physiognomy within a single slice, inverting Arcimboldo’s method of assembling faces from countless objects.
Part of the season opening on the Fleetinsel Hamburg and Crossing Currents Hamburg Art Week.
