The work cycle Fleeting Glance explores how queer histories persist beyond official archives, carried through gestures, memories, and fleeting encounters. Maik Gräf draws on traces of queer lives and forms of remembrance that resist fixed documentation. Through photography and material experimentation, the works reflect on visibility and disappearance, intimacy and vulnerability. Rather than preserving history as something stable, Fleeting Glance approaches queer memory as fragile, embodied, and continually shaped through acts of looking and remembering.
